Exam week is here!  We will continue to review Monday and Tuesday.  The second period exam will be on Tuesday and the first period exam will be on Thursday.  Please remind students of the importance of these--they count 20% of their semester average.  Hoping you and your family have a safe and merry Christmas!

This semester has flown by!  This  week we will work a little on chapter 5 but we will emphasize preparation for the semester test"!  On Wednesday, students will be able to re-take any one test from this nine-weeks--but they will need to STUDY to take advantage of this opportunity.  Please check grades on ACHIEVE regularly!

I hope everyone had a fun and restful holiday.  We only have 2 weeks of class before we start getting ready for exams.  Please check grades on ACHIEVE regularly!

This last week before Thanksgiving break will be a busy one!  We will continue to wok in chapter  and have a quiz on Wednesday.  Also, their CONSTRUCTION NOTEBOOKS are due on Friday.  This is an ongoing project that has been assigned for about 2 months.  They have 2 sheets of directions which we have discussed several times so there should be no questions. After Thanksgiving, we only have THREE  weeks before Christmas!  How time flies.   I have ( to the best of my knowledge) entered everything into ACHIEVE  so please check it

This week the geometry classes will have a quiz on Wednesday.  It will cover the first 3 sections of Chapter 4.   The remainder of the week will be spent on the last part of chapter 4.

I encourage parents to regularly check grades on ACHIEVE.

The geometry classes will begin working on chapter 4 this week.  I anticipate a vocabulary quiz on Friday.  I will be sending home a progress report.  Please examine, sign and return it to me.

This week we will test on the first half of chapter 3 on Tuesday. We will have a homework  "test" on Wednesday, also.  We will continue working on Chapter 3 for the rest of the week.  I should have grades posted on ACHIEVE by Wednesday.  Continue to encourage your student to give us his/her best effort!

Only TWO more weeks left in this 9-weeks!  Please check grades frequently on ACHIEVE and help stay on top of missed assignments.  It is vital that your student give us his/her best effort --there is MUCH to be done and getting behind  will be difficult to overcome!

4 weeks remaining!  how the year has flown by--and I have enjoyed every minute of it!  Today we are testing on Chapter 10 and we will spend the remainder of the week working on Chapter 11.  Please help me keep students focused for this final stretch!  Check grades regularly!  If your student will be taking the final exam, they already have materials for review and should be working on them.

We will have our 9 weeks test today and I feel comfortable with their skill!  We will finish chapter 8 this week and test either on Friday or next Monday.  Again, I encourage up to stay aware of their grades on Edline and  the children to stay caught up!

As you know, we are quickly approaching the end of the 9-week period.  I urge you to check Edline and discuss anything you question with your student and/or me.  The easeist way to contact me is a facebook message or phone call.  This week we will have a test on Wednesday and use the remainder of the week preparing for our 9-week test next Tuesday.

I am excited to have my students back from their trip!  I know they had a good time.  Today we will review the beginning of Chapter 8 and then continue in this chapter.  I do not anticipate a test until next Monday at the earliest. We are starting Chapter 8 this week -- geometric mean and Pythagorean Theorem.  There will be a vocab quiz on Friday.  I do not anticipate a chapter test this week--after their week in Washington we will review for a day or two and then test.  Encourage your student to stay caught up!

I appreciate your thoughts and prayers in my "season" of illness.  Hopefully I am on the way to recovery!  This week we will complete Chapter 7 and have the chapter 7 test mid-week.  As always, encourage your student to stay caught up--time if flying!

This week we will have a vocab quiz on Tuesday and a Chapter 6 test on Wednesday.  Encourage students to stay caught up and dok make-up work as soon as possible!
